About the client
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Vietnam)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam is responsible for the country's diplomatic relations, multilateral engagements, and the coordination of high-level international events hosted in Viet Nam, including UN convenings and treaty-level signings.

The project
Maven was invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam to provide simultaneous interpretation for a high-level UN convening of government delegations, experts, and policy leaders held on 25–26 October 2025.
The request was received on short notice and required full six-language coverage: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish. Maven managed the project end to end, including interpreter selection and briefing, travel logistics, venue coordination, and on-site delivery.
Interpreters were accommodated close to the venue to support preparation, rest, and coordination, directly contributing to consistent performance. The convention was delivered over two days with smooth, accurate multilingual interpretation, extending Maven’s fail-free track record of high-stakes projects across more than 20 countries and four continents, with Viet Nam added to the list.

The challenge
The assignment came on short notice and required full coverage in all six official UN languages — Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish — for a two-day signing ceremony attended by senior government delegations, experts, and policy leaders. Maven had to source and brief specialist interpreters, manage international travel, align with venue and protocol requirements, and coordinate on-site delivery within a tight window, while maintaining the accuracy and continuity expected of a treaty-level UN event.

The outcome
The convention was delivered over two full days with smooth, accurate multilingual interpretation across all six UN languages. Interpreters were accommodated close to the venue to support preparation, rest, and coordination, which contributed directly to consistent on-mic performance. Successful delivery extended Maven's fail-free track record on high-stakes projects across more than 20 countries and four continents, with Viet Nam now added to that list, and reinforced Maven's standing as a trusted partner for short-notice, treaty-level UN convenings.
