About the client
Bureau Veritas
Founded in 1828, Bureau Veritas employs around 78,000 people in 140 countries. It provides testing, inspection, and certification services to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The project
Since 2015, ongoing CI for Bureau Veritas site visits, factory audits, and inspections, including pandemic-related adaptations.
The challenge
Remote locations: site visits took place in remote locations. COVID-19 protocols: interpreters had to be pre-screened before each visit. Mixed-language workforces: factory workers spoke a mix of languages, requiring interpreters able to bridge cultural gaps. Long-term continuity: the same standard of interpretation had to be kept up across an ongoing, multi-year relationship.

The outcome
Since 2015, Maven has supported Bureau Veritas audits, inspections and site visits. During the pandemic, interpreters were screened and cleared to Bureau Veritas's requirements, so interpretation did not disrupt operations.
