The project
Maven supported a US Government–led military conference near Bangkok, delivered with a US-based language services partner. A team of 20 conference interpreters was sourced from Europe and Asia. The venue was about three hours outside Bangkok, so Maven managed interpreter travel, accommodation and on-site logistics under tight timelines and changing operational requirements.
The challenge
The venue sat approximately three hours outside Bangkok, which added significant logistical complexity for interpreter transport, equipment positioning, and on-site coordination. The interpreter team was assembled and brought from Europe & Asia, with seamless alignment required between Maven and the US-based language services partner to meet the security, continuity, and quality standards expected of a US military training programme.

The outcome
Maven planned transfers so interpreters, equipment and technical staff arrived and were set up before the first session, despite the distance from Bangkok. Maven and the US partner agreed security, continuity and quality requirements in advance, so the interpreter team worked to the standards expected of a US military training programme. The conference was delivered as planned. It was Maven's second engagement with the same US partner after the CHOD Conference in Brunei, which reinforced its standing for government and defence assignments.
